"Build the game you
want to play."

Description

You awaken as a summoner, one of the chosen no less, and suddenly your fate has become intertwined with the war for the world. Recruited by the Temple of Ages, you must hone your skills in the Art of Contest to master your inner light and push back the endless horde of The Godless. Choose a deck that resonates with your spirit and tap into the avatars of ancient gods and monsters to battle alongside you in this real-time strategy card game. Welcome to the world of Summoner’s Nexus.

  • Players will engage in contests against one another to improve their rank within the Temple of Ages.
  • Players will form alliances known as guilds, and compete to have their order stand head and shoulders above the rest.
  • Winning battles and improving their rank will allow players to earn rank-rewards, progress through a seasonal battle pass and acquire in-game currency.
  • Players will use this currency to purchase and collect cosmetics and cards, the latter of which will enable them to engage in contests at a higher level and take part in community events.
  • Community events will determine the cardpool and ecosystem of the game, creating an incentive to participate and perform well in said events.

History

The “Summoner’s Nexus Project” has its roots in early 2021, although production only began in mid to late 2022. The project was born from a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan series that was intended to find a home on both YouTube and Webtoon. However, that series eventually grew from a “fanfiction” into an original fantasy based novel that is currently going through the publishing process. From that novel, the spark for this game arose and the two have been developed side by side ever since. Because neither of these endeavors were full time ventures, and because some of the required skills for the game’s production had to be outsourced, this project took some time to reach its current state, but the Summoner’s Nexus TCG is almost ready to be shared.

Platforms

  • The Summoner’s Nexus TCG will be playable on Android and iOS
  • There are post launch plans for a release on Steam as well
